A Special Wedding

Flycatcher Castle

CAPACITY

We host small, intimate weddings for up to 50 people.

SUITES

We require that wedding guests utilize all six suites for at least one evening (thus 12 people or 6 couples) (Additional stays, for example, the bride and company staying over the previous night, will be charged extra). The daily rate per couple for the:

Verdi, Puccini, Strauss and Gounod Suites: R2 700 (Thus, 4 couples X R2 700 = R10 800);

Mozart Royal (honeymoon) Suite: R3 360;

Ruby Royal: R2 500;

Total cost for 12 resident guests = R16 660.

The rates include dinner, bed and breakfast.

Wedding guests making use of our suites: the cost of their meals for the wedding reception is deducted from the total wedding reception dinner budget.  The cost per person for a four course dinner is R300. It means that the cost for the balance of 50 guests (=38) will be R11 400.

Total cost for 12 resident guests plus 38 lunch or dinner guests = R28 060.

CHAPEL

Use of the chapel is included in the above quotation. The chapel can accommodate 50 guests.

NON-SMOKING

Flycatcher Castle is a non-smoking venue and therefore smoking is only possible outside the building.

MINISTERS, FLOWERS, DÉCOR, PHOTOGRAPHER

Arrangements regarding décor, ministers, flowers and photographer shall be the financial responsibility of the client. We can assist in supplying information and organisation in this regard.

DANCING

Due to the residential area we are situated in we allow dancing only to 12 midnight. A DJ, music and equipment is the client’s responsibility.

BREAKAGES AND DAMAGE

The use of our crockery, cutlery and table cloths is included in the quotation. It is the client’s responsibility to replace these items should there be any damage or loss.

LIQUOR

We do not have a licence so you can bring your own wine and beers. We do not charge corkage. It is the client’s responsibility to arrange a barman, should there be a need for that.

MENUS

Menus consist of four courses including a soup, starter, main course and dessert and can be discussed between the client and ourselves. Price per head is R300. For the in-house guests the dinner is included in their rate.
