It is a journey and we are delighted at the prospect of assisting you every step of the way. Once you have decided to host your wedding at 401 Rozendal, our team of experts that include a chef, coordinator, flower & décor specialist, will be in contact to support you in planning your dream wedding. We have a fantastic on-site catering company, Awesome Weddings & Events. As executive chef and renowned former owner of Restaurant’s, Janneman Lee has experience in the catering industry for more than 25 years. He will provide you with the perfect menu for your special day. Sitting Pretty is renowned for their calm and professional service, taking care of every little detail and thus ensuring a memorable day. As our in-house Coordinator they will assist you through the planning process, including expert advice on flower & décor choices. Wedding Venue: 401 Rozendal is an undiscovered jewel situated on the Polkadraai road 10km from Stellenbosch central, 401 Rozendal is undeniably one of the most beautiful wine farms you will ever visit. The Joubert family have been wine farmers in the Stellenbosch district since 1913 on the farm Rozendal. In 2009, construction started on an agricultural roof structure to protect the one hundred year old shed situated on the farm. What started out as a bid to save the building quickly escalated into the construction of 401 Rozendal, one of the wine lands most unique wedding and function venues. The venue space of 401 Rozendal boasts various lounges, a dedicated wine and service bar, an elegant after-party area and can host a maximum of 80 seated guests. With years of experience in both venue management and event coordination, the renowned Aleit Group have been contracted to manage all functions. Nevertheless, we offer our clients the option of making use of additional service providers.
VENUE HIRE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: • Square tables – also rearranged as rectangular tables • On-site generator. In the event of a power failure, a charge will be levied for diesel usage. • Clients can hire glasses, linen and/or chairs in a variety of designs through service providers suggested by the Aleit Group. •
Use of kitchen facilities for nominated caterers. • Venue use is until midnight (overtime can be arranged at a cost). • Use of all areas of the estate • Main venue area – formal seating for 80 guests • Wine coup lounges • Cigar lounge • Attic ceremony area • Patio area – standing space for 100 • Patrolled security during your event
