Soul of Africa is a privately owned game lodge in the Bushveld surrounds of the Waterberg Mountains, just outside the town of Thabazimbi, in the Limpopo Province.
The lodge is easily accessible and guests can expect to be pampered in a tranquil environment, within an affordable budget. Accommodating a total of 12 guests, Soul of Africa ensures personal attention and exclusivity.
We also cater for small weddings, conferences and birthday parties.
There are six chalets, each with a double bed, air conditioner, and en-suite full bathroom shower.
Guests can watch the sun setting over mountain peaks from the chalet’s viewing deck. Game and ample bird-life can be viewed at the lodge. There is also a swimming pool and braai area, and guests can go on an open vehicle game drive.
Soul of Africa has a small restaurant and a conference facility.
Dining
Our restaurant chef will make sure you are never left hungry. Our catering emphasis is on traditional South African food and our friendly and qualified waitresses will see to your every need.

Game Drives:
Travel out on an open drive vehicle for a bush adventure with our qualified ranger and experience the magic of the bushveld.
Hiking and Game Walks:
Soul of Africa is classified as a Safe Game Reserve. This means that means that no dangerous animals reside on the reserve and guests are therefore free to bring their own mountain bikes and explore the walking trails either on foot or on bike with our qualified tracker. Hiking can be arranged with our resident game ranger.
Golf:
Soul of Africa can boast that they have three golf courses within a 55km radius of the lodge; Rooiberg (25 kms), Zabula (55kms) and Thabazimbi (25kms)
Birdwatching:
Birdwatchers are in for a treat; 280 species of birds have been identified. This is a birdwatcher’s dream destination!
