Rovos Rail has an endearing love story with classic vintage trains that recapture the romance of a bygone era when train travel was an enviable and decadent occasion. The ceremony is held at the charming Edwardian Rovos Rail Station before delighted guests step aboard to enjoy five-star cuisine, the finest South African wines and the gentle rocking of the train as it winds its way through the Jacaranda City.
Depending on the number of guests, Rovos Rail’s special event train can host, with full-bar facilities, a four-course sit-down dinner for up to 120 guests, a three-course sit-down meal for up to 240 guests in two sittings or, for 250 guests, canapés and cocktails are served for the duration of the journey.
