Kuthaba Bush Lodge is a private game reserve situated near Modimolle, in the Limpopo Province and forms part of the serene Waterberg Mountain Range, renowned for its exquisite scenery.

A comfortable 90 minute drive from Pretoria, this malaria free reserve boasts a diverse landscape; including dramatic cliff faces and an ancient Wild Fig Tree (said to be one of the oldest & largest of its kind). Natural springs and streams combined with open savannahs as well as dense woodlands are home to 15 species of game and over 200 species of birds.

The venue can host up to 120 guests, accommodating 80 overnight guests (excluding campsites). The Main Lodge area boasts 2 swimming pools, thatched lapa, braai bomas, fully equipped guest kitchen, function venue and a licenced bar facility. A variety of accommodation is available to suit individual preferences and price ranges.

The natural wild bush and mountains envelope the main lodge and surrounding accommodation buildings creating an inevitable bond between guest and nature. The Cliffs ceremony venue has been built to reflect the silhouette of an eagle taking flight off of the cliff, symbolising the journey that the bridal couple are about to embark on in their life together. The spectacular view is the perfect backdrop for a dream wedding.

The magnificent Wild Fig Tree has a definite presence which one can feel when standing under its impressive evergreen foliage, surrounded only by silence. Its strength, resilience and distinctiveness mirror that of the couple which exchange vows beneath its canopy. A truly special place for a unique and memorable ceremony.

The Reception Boma with its circular shape and roaring central bonfire, represents the warmth, unity and support of the newly-weds’ family and friends.
