DuVon Cellars is the perfect getaway nestled amongst the vineyards and gardens of this family wine farm. Ideally situated 10 km outside Robertson, the fully equipped self-catering guesthouse provides comfortable yet elegant accommodation.

The farm offers exquisite wines that may be enjoyed while sitting beside the picture-perfect swimming pool, with a view that stretches over 29 acres of vineyards and beyond…

Owners Armand du Toit and his uncle, Alex von Klopmann, have lovingly restored the old cellar (dating back to 1940), and have progressively developed this young winery.

The newest addition to the farm is a beautiful wedding venue that will fulfil all of our client’s needs and preferences.

DuVon is situated near Robertson in the De Goree district that forms part of the Valley of Wine and Roses. The name DuVon symbolizes the merging of the two sole co-owners: Armand Hercolaas Du Toit, winemaker, and his uncle, Alex Karl Von Klopmann, professional engineer and farmer.

Alex immigrated to Cape Town in 1990 and joined his nephew at DuVon to rekindle the family farming tradition.

Armand acquired a passion for winemaking from his parents, Ida and Jacques du Toit, who were fruit and wine growers. Together with his uncle Alex, he set about restoring the cellar at DuVon, which dates back to 1940. Proof of his passion for winemaking is the fact that Armand began making wine at the age of 19.

Armand and Alex, sharing a commitment to producing noble wines, will continue to produce excellent wines for years to come, driven by an ambition to pay tribute to their family legacy.

DuVon Winery, Guest Farm and Wedding Estate truly offers all the new brides a memorable wedding experience with a breathtaking view over the scenic winelands and Langeberg mountain range. The newly built venue offers bridal couples the perfect opportunity to customize their wedding to personal taste,preference and needs.

Ceremony

Garden – DuVon’s garden has one of the most beautiful and scenic views overlooking the vineyards and it easily seats 200 guests. Please keep in mind that it depends on the weather. Wine Cellar – Another option is an intimate ceremony between the wine tanks in our cellar – seats up to 120 guests. Ceremonies can also be held in one of Robertson’s churches (quotation will be settled by the bridal couple)

Reception

We have fully equipped kitchen, bar and toilet facilities. We can accommodate about 100 – 200 guests in our wedding venue including a dance floor.

The various catering options are endless. Specific menus and quotations are prepared according to your own preferences and needs.

Bar Facilities

Fully equipped and licensed bar, two barmen and ice included.

Accommodation

DuVon’s self-catering units can accommodate up to 10 guests. We will supply you with a list of additional accommodation at neighbouring farms in a 3 km radius, which can accommodate ± 90 guests in total.

Florist and Décor Specialist

You are welcome to arrange your own flowers/décor if you prefer so. Alternatively we will supply you with a contact list of florists/décor specialists in Robertson. The bridal couple will settle the florist/décor specialist quotation.

Music, DJ, Photographer, Videographer, Beauticians, Graphic Designer, Rental Facilities, Wedding co-ordinator etc.
